What is Certified Nurse Aide training?
The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program is an intensive training program designed to prepare individuals for entry-level employment in the healthcare field as nurse aides. The program provides comprehensive instruction in basic patient care skills, equipping students with the knowledge and abilities required to assist patients/residents in hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare settings. Upon successful completion of the program, students will meet federal certification standards for nurse aides and be eligible to sit for the New Mexico Nurse Aide certification exams.
